Monroe County Water District customers on and along Gamaliel Road, Celina Road and Old Glasgow Road area may experience lower water pressure than normal. This is due to maintenance and upgrades to our tank. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
A boil water advisory has been issued by the Ky Division of Water on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 10:00 am for Monroe County Water District Customers on Harper St., Patterson St., Crowe Ave., Agers St., Holland St., Factory St., Woodland St. and Napier St. This will affect approximately 81 customers due to contractor hitting a water line. Customers should bring all water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes. The boil water advisory will continue until after sample results are received.

Frequently asked questions
A Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure to ensure there are not any contaminants in the water due to a leak. Once the water samples are tested and are clear of any contaminants the Boil Water Advisory will be lifted by the Kentucky Division of Water.
Customers should bring their water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes before consuming until the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
